After having my camera for a little over a year and barely using it, I'm teaching myself how to use it by one tiny aspect at a time...or else, what a waste of money on my part if I don't learn how to use it properly. This past year's lesson has been shutter speed...next up, aperture. So, I'm a slow learner and have a very limited attention span (especially if TV is on...ZOMG!), but I promise I won't claim that "photograhe iz mah lyfe!!!!11l21;lj!"

I set up my tripod and worked with the shutter to take pictures of the the daycare place across the street at night...I happened to catch the moon in the shot as well and a car that zipped by. And finally, I didn't manipulate the hell out of this except for cloning out a ghost shadow : /

	sappysuperunknown10: 07/22/2009 10:42 AM Ha, I'm pretty clueless myself when it comes to photography, especially cause my shitty little camera only has like 3 options, self timer, macro and flash so any n00b can use it XD i would like to learn how to use one of those fancy schmancy cams though, especially for the night shots like these. It looks really pretty! :)

I could try to read about stuff all day on the interwebz, but the terminalogy fails me everytime! So I just start messing with settings and try to remember what I did (If it was good) for the next time! :D

	bizarreland: 07/26/2009 10:55 AM I love this photo.....I don't see the car at all but all those lights are perfect.......I love the star shape of the moon. I'm the same way with those instruction manuals they confuse the hell out of me I can't read too much just one thing at a time. Most of my cameras I still don't know how to use completely just enough to get me by !!!! And the menus are also confusing to me but I do know the basics.......Your doing really well with your lesson : )
